Handling issues

Handling Issues

The most frequent reconstitution and handling problems — what they mean and how to handle them safely.

Likely causes

  • Powder added too fast / shaken too aggressively
  • Contaminated stopper (skipped alcohol swab)
  • Vial frozen after reconstitution
  • Peptide degradation from heat exposure

What to do

Discard the vial. Reconstituted solutions must be clear. If you suspect contamination, do not attempt to use it.
